Menu Personalization

This lesson explains how Asset Vision allows for customization of menus for easier navigation.

The user is able to choose which menu tabs show on both the header ribbon of AV as well as the sublevel menus. These menu changes are applied only for that user.

Navigate to: Home > My Menu > Menu Visibility Settings

Here the user can change the menu tabs that appear in the header by checking and unchecking the boxes. Unchecking a box does not delete the data associated with that menu, it just hides that menu item.

If the user clicks on the small triangle icon next to a menu item it will expand to show them the associated sublevel menu items. The user can use the checkboxes to determine the visibility of these menu items as well.

In this example, the Agents tab will be unchecked to show the effect and what the user will see afterwards. While the Agents menu is checked, that menu tab is visible and available for the user to click.

In this example, When the Self-Audit tab is unchecked and the user saves this setting, then the tab no longer appears. The data views that were stored in that menu tab were not affected and if the user checks the Self-Audit box again then the menu tab will appear again exactly as it was before.
