How to View the Discovery Probe Results
This lesson goes into detail about the Discovery Status menu section of Asset Vision. These menus provide an overview of discovery probe results and overall discovery progress for your environment.
Discovery Status Menu
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status. This will display a description of each menu section.
Discovery Probe Results Dashboard
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status > Discovery Probe Results
The Discovery Probe Results Dashboard displays the default Widgets such as Graphs, Charts, and Gauges configured for Asset Vision.
Note: Double-click the Discovery Probe Results menu to reload the dashboard if you navigate away from the page.
All Probe Results
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status > Discovery Probe Results > All Probe Results
The All Probe Results menu displays a data view listing all discovery probes run on a device regardless of Success status.
Discovery Probe Results > Failures Only
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status > Discovery Probe Results > Failures Only
The Failures Only menu displays a data view listing all failed discover probes run against a device and details about why the probe failed.
Discovery Progress Dashboard
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status > Discovery Progress
The Discovery Progress Dashboard displays the default Widgets such as Graphs, Charts, and Gauges configured for Asset Vision.
Note: Double-click the Discovery Progress menu to reload the dashboard if you navigate away from the page.
All Devices
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status > Discovery Progress > All Devices
The All Devices menu displays a data view listing discovery and inventory results for all network devices. This data view is organized by last accessed date - the date the device was last detected on the network.
Computers Only
Navigate to: Setup > Discovery Status > Discovery Progress > Computers Only
The Computers Only menu shows the results of discovery and inventory for all computer categorized devices. This data view is organized by last accessed date - the date the computer was last detected on the network.
