How Warranty Information is Determined

This lesson explains how warranty information is determined in Asset Vision.

Important information regarding warranty in Asset Vision:

  • Warranty information is based upon data provided by the manufacturer warranty site.
  • Warranty data is looked up on an automated basis for any device missing this data, or if the warranty is due to expire in about a month.
  • If warranty data for a device is expired then it is looked up again for updates once a week for 12 weeks after expiration.  After this time warranty data is no longer looked up and considered expired.
