Populate the Scopes and Click Save

To save a Scopes filter:

  1. Enter the necessary values in the Scopes fields
  2. Click the Save button located at the bottom of the Scopes Filter.

Enter Filter Settings

Enter Filter Settings

The Scope settings window will pop up.

  1. Enter the name.
  2. Enter the restrictions (if applicable) for the saved Scope.
  3. Click OK.

Saved filters can be deleted from the Scopes tab seen when editing the structure of a data view under data view management and also at Home > Available Actions > My Scope Settings.

Set the Scope setting to load automatically

After a scope setting is saved, there is an option to configure a specified setting to automatically load instead of the "Default" setting when the data view menu item is selected.

To configure, simply check the "Run this report automatically" checkbox below the "Saved Settings" drop-down. The next time the data view is loaded from the same menu item, it will load the specified setting, with the Scopes panel minimized to the right.

NOTE:

  • This setting is a per-user option, and is only configured for the current user's personalization.
  • To remove this option, simply uncheck the "Run this report automatically" check box. A refresh of the interface may be required for the Default view to be loaded again.
Set the Scope setting to load automatically

As mentioned before, when a scope is saved and set to automatically load, the Scopes pane is minimized to the right. To expand it again, click anywhere on the Scopes title bar.
