The dashboard feature in Asset Vision provides the user with a high level overview of data separated into multiple widgets that each specialize in displaying a certain type of data or relationship between data. The widgets contained in the dashboards can display data in charts, gauges, grids, maps and other business diagrams.

Dashboard vs Widget

A dashboard is the component that acts as a container for widgets. Widgets are the individual components that graphically display a set of data. Therefore, a dashboard will typically contain one or more widgets. A dashboard with no widgets will be blank.

Dashboard Management

Dashboards can be created, edited, and viewed in the Dashboard Management section of Asset Vision. The Dashboard Management tab is located under the Admin tab.
