How to Import iOS Apps Into Asset Vision for Installation
This lesson explains how to import applications into Asset Vision that you will want to deploy to a device.
Navigate to the Embedded iTunes App Store
Navigate to Client Manager > Apps > Commercial App Stores > iTunes App Store.
- Select the device type your wish to search for (universal apps will appear regardess of the device type chose).
- Ensure you are searching the correct store country for the device(s) you wish to deploy to.
- Enter a search term that identfies the app.
- Click Search. You'll now be presented with a list of apps that meet the search criteria.
Select the Required App and Import It
- Select the app you wish to import.
- Click Add to Catalog to bring the app information into Asset Vision (not the app itself is not downloaded, only references to the app that allow it to be installed).
Review the App in Your Local Catalog
Navigate to Client Manager > Apps > Local App Catalog > iTunes App Catalog.
- Check the imported app is shown.
