Navigate to Device Manager > Enrollment > Users > Population. This data view displays information about the users of the client devices.

1. Select the user that will receive the enrollment URL.
2. Right-click the user record and select Start Enrollment OR
3. Select Start Enrollment at the bottom of the data view to start the enrollment process.

1. Enrollment Available Until: The date that the enrollment will expire on.
2. Device Enrollment Limit: The maximum number of devices that can be enrolled using this enrollment URL.
3. Install Asset Vision App Store for iOS: Add the Asset Vision app store to the device at time of enrollment.

Note: Send Enrollment Email is checked by default for iOS-based enrollements, and therefor provides enrollment via email using the email address on the user record.

Export to Apple Configurator will export a profile that can be used by Apple Configurator to initiate Over the Air Enrollment.

Here is the downloaded, correctly formatted profile document to be imported into Apple Configurator. This example is using Google Chrome as the browser. Other browsers will indicate a successful download in different ways.

The following steps will only concern themselves with how to set up a device to enable enrollment into the Asset Vision® Client Manager:

1. Give your devices a meaningful name if required
2. By selecting this option, each device you are going to configure will be given a unique sequence number appended to the meaningful name
3. Supervision is topic covered in the document linked to above. Supervision can be used with Asset Vision® Client Manager. The full scope of MDM functionality is available for supervised devices, but all configuration implemented via MDM will be erased when the device is reconnected to the Apple Configurator - including the removal of applications installed over the air.
4. Click the plus symbol to add a profile that will contain the minimum required settings for the devices to enable Over the Air enrollment into Asset Vision® | Client Manager. These setting are covered next.
5. When the dialog opens select Import Profile.

1. Select the profile(.mobileconfig file) downloaded from Asset Vision® Client Manager.
2. Select Open it to import into Apple Configurator.

1. The newly created profile will appear in the list of profiles
2. If you are using the Apple Configurator to perform further initial configuration additional profiles can be added now as can any initial applications or assignments. Details of this process is beyond the scope of this document, but can be found in the information linked to in a prior step
3. Once you are ready to prepare the devices, click the Prepare icon.

1. All the devices attached to the Apple Configurator machine will be shown in the list to the right.
2. When you are happy the list is accurate click Apply and they will be configured.

1. Once the preparation process is complete a icon with the label Enroll Device will appear on the device screen.  Touch the icon to start the Over the Air secured enrollment into Asset Vision® | Client Manager

1. During the OTA process you will see various screens and need to approve the installation of the OTA profile.
2. The certificate identifying the Asset Vision® | Client Manager server instance is downloaded.
3. And the Mobile Device Management profile.

Once complete you will now be enrolled in the Asset Vision® | Client Manager.

You can verify that the device is enrolled by following these steps:

1. Navigate to Client Manager > Enrollment > Users > Enrollment Enabled.
2. After a few minutes the device will appear in the list.
