How to Confirm my Device Actions Have Taken Effect
This lesson introduces the Asset Vision Action Log. The action log is a very useful resource to see what is happening when managing enrolled devices. It is covered elsewhere in this manual in context, and it is introduced here as a way to validate that the actions, described earlier in this chapter have occurred.
Navigate to Action Log
The Client Manager action log is located at Client Manager > Logs > Action Logs.
- Action Timestamp indicates the date and time of the action.
- Device Action is the actual action taken on the device of the feedback classification.
- Device Name is the device that action was aimed at.
- Model Name is the model of the device.
- Target Name is the target application name.

- Completed will show false when the action is initiated and a second line for the action when showing true if it completes successfully (or false again if there is an error response from the device).
- Notes gives an indication of any responses from the device. Normally this shows Scheduled for an action that has been initiated and Command executed when it has completed on the device. Error messages will also be displayed here.
- Multiple displays whether there were multiple requests for that device action.
- Sequence Action displays the placement in the queue of requests if there are multiple requests for that device action.

- Associated User is the user who activated that device action.

- UDID is the unique device identifier for that device.
- UUID is the universally unique identifier for the software.
