How to Use Redemption Codes

This lesson explains how imported redemption codes are used.

Select the App to Install on Device

Navigate to Client Manager > Devices > Apple Clients > By Status > Currently Enrolled.

  1. Right-click the device and hover over Device Actions.
  2. Click Install Apps.

Navigate to Client Manager > Action Log. You can review the process of the distribution inside the Action Log.

  1. Select an app by checking the box next to it.
  2. Click Install Selected.

Your Users Will See This Message on Their Devices

On the device, a message will indicate the management server about to initiate the installation and importantly that the users iTunes account will not be charged for this app.

  1. Click Install to start the installation.
