How to Remotely Erase an Android Enrollment Profile

This lesson explains how to remove an Android Enrollment Profile from a managed device. Removing the Management Profile deletes, from Asset Visional, the device record and any associated information and data. The action also removes from the device:

  • The Google Account associated with the profile
  • Any related applications and data associated with the Google Account.
Navigate to iOS Devices

Navigate to Devices > Clients > Currently Enrolled > Android.

Erase the Device Profile

  1. Choose the device you wish to wipe, right click, and hover over Device Actions.
  2. Select Erase from the context menu pop-up.

Select Yes to confirm removal of the profile. Note that, as discussed before, this does not wipe the device. All data and applications related only to the management profile Google Account will be removed, leaving any existing personal Google Account information (if there is an existing account).
