How to Revoke a VPP License

This lesson explains how to revoke an Apple Volume Purchase Program license from a user or device.

Navigate to VPP Users License Allocation Menu

Navigate to Client Manager > Applications > Licensing > VPP License Allocation.

  1. Select the license(s) that will be revoked.
  2. Right-click and select Revoke License.

Any revoked license returns to the pool of available licenses and can be re-assigned to another user or device. The user is notified that the app is no longer assigned to them after 15 minutes with the message(s) shown above.
