Time Zone/Server Time
As Asset Vision is a cloud-based product, it can present itself anywhere and anytime. To assist with this, the interface provides for the ability to have a default Time Zone, in which all users who log in will view and use the instance of the product.
Configure the default Time Zone.
To configure the Default Time Zone:
- Navigate to Setup >> System Settings >> Time Zone.
- Select the desired time zone in the Default Time Zone dropdown.
- Check the Apply settings to all users? check box to apply the default time zone to all existing users. Any pre-existing individual time zone settings will be over-ridden. Any newly-created user will take on the default time zone as configured.
If the Apply settings to all users is not checked, then the default setting will be configured for only newly-created users.

Check the Hide Server Time: check box in order to hide the Server date/time legend in the upper-left-hand corner of the Asset Vision UI. This option is a global setting that cannot be modified at a per-individual level.
