How to Restart a PAD Server Service
This lesson describes how to restart a PAD Server Service. The PAD Server is a service that runs on the computer that it was installed on. If a PAD previously had a Connected status and is no longer responding then Scalable support may ask you to restart your PAD server service. This lesson will give you the step-by-step instructions on how to complete this task.
Navigate to Your Windows Services Administrator Console

To Navigate to your Windows Services console Navigate to: Start Menu > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
STOP the PAD Server Service

Select the PAD Server service and STOP the service.
Stop Service Status Window

Wait for Windows to Stop the Service.
Start the PAD Server Service

Select the PAD Server service and START the service.
Status Should Show As Started

Confirm that the PAD Server's status is Started.
