This release adds the ability to automatically assign a computer asset based on either the primary user of a computer or, if needed, the user that last logged in.  Both user/computer affiliations are tracked by Asset Vision and can now be used to increase the speed at which a computer can be reported by user attributes like department. This is an important enhancement because assigning ownership of a computer is a fundamental aspect of asset tracking and too often depends on the manual intervention of IT asset managers and analysts.  This activity can be prone to error, so automation is key to improving the accuracy and efficiency of asset management.
