Asset Vision further expands IBM discovery to include the agentless capture of hardware virtualization inventory for AIX Power Systems. This includes the ability to capture LPAR and related configuration information by scanning IBM Hardware Management Consoles (HMC) and Virtual I/O Servers. This inventory and configuration data influences the assessment of IBM software license liability for an enterprise.
