Asset Vision now extends SNMP scans to support identification of Teradici thin client devices. It is important to correctly identify different types of devices, such as thin clients. Many thin clients can only (or best) be scanned via SNMP. Scanning is necessary for allowing the device to appear in the lists of possible entitlement assignment targets in the License Assignment Wizard. This information is necessary for comprehensive and correct license management.
