License Manager was built with evolution in mind, at least in terms of being able to keep up with the changes in common licensing models. In addition to the existing support for installed software, hosted services, and operating systems, this release sees the introduction of support for user-based license requirements concerning software that is not installed, but consumed via virtualization or SaaS-based mechanisms as well as user-owned installations.
