NEW for July 2019

Technology Preview for New UI Architecture

In response to unanimous customer feedback and market need, we have been working hard to update the way we present information from Asset Vision in your browser. We have identified a suitable technology and have been building the underlying architecture to allow us to evolve the User Interface quickly in line with your needs. In this release we have included this foundational technology and would like to invite you to review it with us to garner your feedback. Because of its “preview” status we will be enabling this on an individual basis, so we can demonstrate and discuss it accordingly.

We will be contacting you directly regarding this but, if you are keen for us to show you before we contact you, please reach out to your Scalable representative.

System Email "From Address" Configuration

Further enhancing the configuration of Asset Vision we have now added the ability to configure the system emails from the platform such that they can be changed to suit your environment. An example might be, instead of [email protected] you may want it to be from dashboards_av_statistics@ instead. For more information on how to configure this setting, please visit the lesson in Help.

Extended SaaS App Discovery Probes

Following the theme of providing a “single pane of glass” into your ever-changing inventory, we are, in this iteration, expanding our probes beyond Microsoft Office 365 and Google to consume data from other external SaaS application vendors such as the Atlassian suite and Slack. We intend to continue this drive, supporting cloud applications alongside physically installed applications as the software inventory landscape continues to change. To configure these probes for this new data collection, please visit Help.

Enhancements to “Computer” Based Query Performance

We continue to review and monitor database performance across the board and have identified some enhancements to table indexing that may improve your report performance considerably. These changes will be applied incrementally during this release cycle.  Please contact us if you wish to learn more.
