NEW for December 2018
2019 User Experience - Full Release
Following the success of the beta program, we have incorporated feedback and are delighted to extend access to the new Asset Vision User Experience to all users. We feel strongly that the new Information Architecture provides a significantly more intuitive way in which to access your data, ensuring you can get to the information you need in a more efficient way. When you first log in after the update you will presented a choice to switch to the new layout. In addition, there is a mechanism for you to provide feedback directly from the interface (via the “announcement” icon). We welcome your continued feedback and look forward to hearing from you as we continue to drive a positive user experience.
Azure data enhanced to include pricing information
Continuing the theme of enhancing the Asset Vision inventory collection to incorporate cloud infrastructure, we can now collect product pricing list data from AWS and Azure to allow the future incorporation of intelligent reports determining not only what your cloud estate is made up of but what future costs might look like. This feature is currently enabled upon request for customers using Asset Vision Server capabilities. Please reach out to your Scalable representative if you are interested.
Additional support for export via Secure FTPS
As integration enhancements, and related security, continue to be key to our vision, this enhancement adds the secure capability of FTPS to our export options, enabling direct and secure export of your Asset Vision data to systems that support this protocol such as EasyVista Service Manager.
Report Performance Improvements
After detailed analysis of the reporting interface we have identified some enhancements to the criteria selection that, in some cases, will significantly improve the performance and speed of data being returned. This includes many software and machines usage reports, as well as web usage reports.
