In this release of Asset Vision, there is a new Windows Desktop Agent which brings support for the Windows 10 May 2020 Update, support for Office 365 click-to-run installations, tracking of URLs and tab switching for the original Windows Internet Explorer and improved PAC file support. The latest Windows Desktop agent is available from your agent download page inside your Asset Vision instance, labelled “Windows Desktop (new)”.

In this release of Asset Vision, there is a new Windows Server Agent which brings support for the Windows Server 2019 May 2020 release and improved PAC file support. The latest Windows Server agent is available from your agent download page inside your Asset Vision instance.

In this release of Asset Vision, there is a now support for macOS 10.15, “Catalina”. The latest Mac agent is available from your agent download page inside your Asset Vision instance.

The Oracle discovery capability has been updated with the latest Oracle drivers, and can now optionally discover Oracle databases without attempting to run an inventory script against the database itself.

In recent releases the synchronisation model between Chaklun and Asset Vision has been changed to allow near real-time changes in normalisation data to be distributed. This means Publisher modifications to already normalised data can be delivered between releases. Previous releases dealt with Hardware and Software data, this release adds the capability for software patch data.
