Context-sensitive Help

Asset Vision provides an inline Help system that provides high-level information about all aspects of the solution. While the entire contents of the Asset Vision Help system is able to be browsed at once, a Pop-up help dialog is also available, providing help articles that are appropriate to the area that is being used.

To access Help while using any part of the interface:

Click the "?" icon in the upper right-hand section of the UI.
The Help window pops up. The window is comprised of:

  1. Search Box - Typing anything in this box will filter existing articles based on the search criteria. Articles more relevant to the current location will appear first, followed by any remaining articles in the Help system.
  2. Recent feature articles - This is where the Context-sensitive component comes into play. This section automatically populates with articles that are most appropriate to the current location.  Clicking on any of the listed article links opens up the article in a separate tab.
  3. See all - This link opens the entire Help system in a separate tab. From here, Help can be browsed out of context, allowing you to see all Help articles groups by major section of the application.
  4. Contact Support - Link opens up the main Support page at Scalable: www.scalable.com/support.

Clicking anywhere off the Help window hides it, allowing you to continue to use Asset Vision normally.
