Asset Vision Agent Requirements
Asset Vision collects real-time mouse and keyboard usage from computers. This functionality is made possible via a light-weight Agent that is installed on the computers from where the usage is desired.

Hardware Requirements

• CPU Minimum as required by the installed OS.
• Memory  Minimum as required by the installed OS.
• 20MB free disk space.
• Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) version 1.5 or greater (for Windows-based machines).

Agent Communication
The Asset Vision Agent communicates with the hosted Asset Vision server via HTTPS (port 443). This port will need to be open outbound from the client machine for proper Agent functionality.

How Do the Agents Report Data to Asset Vision?
All agents transmit inventory and usage data on a daily basis back to the server. Each agent has its own reporting time and will not transmit this data all once. The agent uses less than 1% average CPU on the desktop and, on average, transmit less than 100K per machine per day to the server.
