How to View Discovered XenApp Services
This lesson provides detail information regarding the discovered XenApp Services menu. Shows discovered Citrix XenApp servers, licensed applications and features, and application users. XenApp runs as an extension of Windows Remote Desktop Services and provides usage of applications presented virtually to client machines.
XenApp Services Dashboard
Default dashboard items are available under all top level menus in the left navigation bar.
Displayed Widgets:
- Configured Users by Discovered Service Application
- User and Services Metrics table
- Discovered Service Applications by Server
- Configured Users by Normalized Service Application
Servers
Servers view lists discovered XenApp servers in the environment. The view provides information such as:
- Server Name
- Server OS
- Number of XenApp Services and Applications
- Hardware Resources of the server, including physical or virtual information
Applications
The Applications view displays a list of XenApp-hosted applications grouped by the hosting server. It provides useful information for each application:
- Application Name and Path
- Application Distinguished Name
- XenApp ID
Services
The Services view displays information related to the specific services that are running at time of the XenApp scan, with useful information about each service:
- Active and Disconnected Sessions
- Capacity Model
- Metric Count
- Product Name
- Associated Farm Name
Licensed Features
The Licensed Features view shows what XenApp features are licensed and available per XenApp server. The list provides information like:
- XenApp Product (License Feature) Name
- License Expiration Date/time
- Feature State and In Use flag
- Serial Number
