How to View Discovered Operating Systems and Thin Client Devices
This lesson describes the information in the Operating Systems menu including normalized information on Operating System distribution across the environment as well as thin client devices if Asset Vision Optimize is installed.
Operating Systems Dashboard
Clicking on the Operating Systems menu item displays widgets that contain information about discovered Operating Systems in the environment.
- Operating System Distribution: Count of Operating Systems grouped by Name.
- OS Platforms by Implementation: Count of installations grouped by Platform.
OS Installations and Thin Client Devices
Information regarding Operating System installations is located at Discovered Software > Operating Systems > OS Installations:
This data view displays normalized information on Operating System distribution across the environment. Information on thin client devices is included if Asset Vision Optimize is installed.
