The Status Manager job maintains the status of the devices in the Asset Vision environment. Status Manager will ensure that a default status exists for all devices as well as update that status based on manually entered 'overrides' and Asset Vision discovery data from the PAD and (if available) Optimize agents.

Status Manager is an offline process that can be submitted through the Asset Vision UI, but can also be enabled to run daily.

Some factors used when determining the status of a device:

• Manually added overrides
• PAD discovery data
• Optimize discovery data (

Each modification to the status of a device can easily be viewed from the Change Log.
