Asset Vision Optimize now summarizes web applications usage data to improve ease-of-access of the reports.

Summary

Summary

Clicking on the Summary menu item renders a dashboard that contains two widgets:

  • Unique Users by Web App: Count of users grouped by distinct web applications.
  • Devices by Web App: Count of devices where web applications have been used.

Usage by Web App

A summary of Usage by Web App will provide an overview of web applications and their usage across devices, by users, and high-level cost impact to the organization.

Usage By Web App

The report can provide information to help you understand some key points regarding usage of a specific product including:

  • The number of different product versions related to the product.
  • Distinct Users of the product and on which devices it is installed and used.
  • Where the product is installed but not used.
  • Cost and Potential Cost of the product (based on provided cost and number of installations).

Available drill downs in this report allow you to:

  • View a list of specific product versions associated with the product.
  • See the Distinct Users and installation locations of a product.
  • View on which devices the product is used or unused.

Usage History

The Usage History report shows a quarterly, historical summary of used and unused device counts organized by web application.

The report can provide historical usage information for specific web applications, based on calendar quarters. It includes information such as:

  • The number of different product versions related to the product.
  • Distinct Users of the product and on which devices it is installed and used.
  • Devices on which the product is installed, installed and used, and installed and not used.
  • Cost and Potential Cost of the product (based on provided cost and number of installations).

Available drill downs in this report allow you to:

  • View a list of specific product versions associated with the product.
  • See the Distinct Users and installation locations of a product.
  • View on which devices the product is used or unused.
