How to View Other Discovered Devices

This lesson explains the information in the Other Devices menu including discovered VoIP phones and other devices currently unclassified.

NMAP can detect IP phones using SSH Service response and OS Detection. With this feature, Scalable is able to detect and classify IP phones (VOIP Phones) that use the SIP protocol. There are many IP Phone protocols that exist and currently, Scalable only supports the SIP protocol.

SNMP can identify Teradici thin client devices using data present in the MIB. This allows Scalable to gather firmware version, system uuid, hardware version, name, ip address, mac address, model name, serial number, firmware version, hardware version, system uuid, and the inferred manufacturer.
