Cloud Migration Overview
Moving local, on-premise, or even co-located physical hardware to the cloud can be a complicated task. Asset Vision helps to clear up and simplify that process with its Cloud Migration hub. Using this feature, administrators can collect inventory and performance information from local assets, and analyze the data to select candidates for moving to select cloud providers. Multiple migration projects can be managed and reported on individually or together as a whole. Once assets are migrated, old local assets can be linked to the new corresponding cloud assets, providing an audit trail useful for further cost-savings analysis. Multiple migration projects can be managed and reported on individually or together as a whole.
